Emergency kitchen, MREs feeding host of folks

Red Cross volunteers set up an emergency shelter in the room beside the gym at Appalachia High School Tuesday, relocating the temporary shelter set up by the fire and police departments at Appalachian Towers Friday through Monday nights. However, officials reported that no one stayed in the temporary quarters Tuesday night.
