Santa expresses shock at being ignored as Kalee Horner, an avid Appalachia Bulldog fan, shares a little girl talk with Mrs. Claus instead of confiding in Santa about her Christmas wishes. In drawings at the annual Santa Social at the Appalachia Cultural Arts Center, Chloe Mooneyhan and Bryson Mumpower won bicycles and Cheyenne Vaughan won a large stuffed bear. Charlie and Betty Fannon have been assisting Santa with parade duties in Appalachia and Big Stone Gap for many years, and this year also participated in the Christmas parade at Norton.
