Big Stone Gap officials stand in front of a map of the massive water line replacement project the town is addressing in phases over the next decade. Last week, Gov. Tim Kaine announced a $700,000 grant which will be part of a $3.4 million downtown revitalization package. From left standing are Town Manager Pat Murphy, Councilman Eddy Giles, Mayor Barbara Orndorff, Councilmen Gary Johnson and Leonard Rogers and Clerk-Treasurer Judy Hall. Seated are Councilman Edward Hutchinson, Vice-Mayor Nancy Bailey and Councilman Freddie Allison.
