Rita’s Shoppe donates to schools

Rita’s Shoppe, sponsored by Sacred Heart Catholic Church, presented a check for $1,000 to Appalachia Elementary School to help needy children, including this year’s Christmas Angels. Bonnie Ireson, center, presents the check to Principal Matt Dysart and Assistant Principal/Guidance Counselor Marsha Christian. ‘Many thanks to the Sacred Heart Church in Big Stone Gap, and Mrs. Ireson for always helping our students in need,’ said Christian.
