Kyle Scanlan has been awarded the 2014 W.H. and Callie Ann Coughlin Clark Master Teacher Award. Scanlan, being congratulated by MECC President Scott Hamilton, has served as an assistant professor of history and political science since 2005. Scanlan also serves as a student advisor, is an active advisor for the Student Government Association, and is a member of MECC’s Faculty Senate, Budget Committee, Environmental Sustainability Committee, and QEP Committee. Scanlan played a key role in establishing the John I. Burton Dual Enrollment Academy at MECC. As a W.H. and Callie Ann Coughlin Master Teacher award winner, Scanlan receives a $1,500 cash prize and was recognized at the 2014 MECC Celebration of People.
