A crowd of Union girls’ basketball fans made the trek to Richmond this past weekend to cheer on the Lady Bears in their quest for a VHSL Group 2A state championship at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Siegel Center. The fan support helped the Lady Bears in their hard-fought battle with Clinch Mountain Conference foe Ridgeview. Union came up just short on the scoreboard, but represented the school proudly.
