Lonesome Pine School and Heritage Center volunteers decorated trees and enjoyed their Christmas luncheon with guests Monday, Nov. 14. To the left of the tree are volunteers Bobbie Jean Cooper, Marvin Shortt, Sandy Dorton, Jim Kilgore, Garnett Gilliam and Nancy Kilgore; to the right are volunteers Joyce Palmer, Patti Lynn Cooper, Charlotte Gatley, Darlene Duff, Becky Williams, Dave Williams, Barbara Blanton, Kyle Cooper and guest Michael Gilley. The center, across from the June Tolliver Playhouse, is closed for the winter, but arrangements can be made to visit by contacting volunteers at the phone numbers listed on the center’s front door.
