Polar plunge benefits children’s program

The Gap Partnership raised $500 for the Children’s Advocacy Center during the Polar Bear Fundraiser on Jan. 6. The Children’s Advocacy Center provides services for abuse victims. The program is run by Mountain Empire Older Citizens. On Feb. 15, the donation was presented to MEOC.
