Mutual building renovation begins

Fences are up and the parking lot is closed as renovation of the Mutual Pharmacy building on Wood Avenue has begun. The town of Big Stone Gap and the town’s redevelopment and housing authority announced in August that it would be renovated as part of a campaign to save historic buildings. Quesenberry’s Inc. is the contractor.
