The Wise County Public Library hosted a meet-and-greet event Tuesday with new Wise County Administrator Michael Hatfield, shown here talking with regional health district director Sue Cantrell. Hatfield, a 1977 Kelly High School graduate with a degree from the Virginia Military Institute, began work last week. He returned home after living in Florida for several years.
