ROBERT (B0B) RAY MOORE

     Robert (Bob) Ray Moore, 88, of Statesville, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026,  following a lengthy illness.

     Bob was born on February 18, 1938, in Appalachia, Virginia, to the late Robert Franklin Moore and Georgia Margaret Rowland Moore.

    Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Gay Powers Moore; four sons, Steven Moore(Shelby), Daniel Moore (Susan), Robert Moore ( Mechelle), Curtis Moore (Esther); grandchildren Starla Pike, Erin Morrow, Connor Moore; six great-grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; his brother Jerry Randal Moore. 

    In addition to his parents , he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sharon Lee Moore.

     Bob was laid to rest in his church, Fairview Baptist Church, cemetery, Statesville, North Carolina.
