County: Two weeks, 172 cases

Wise County reported 172 new COVID-19 cases between Nov. 7 and Tuesday.

According to Virginia Department of Health statistics, the county’s total number of cases since spring 2020 was 15,166 as of Tuesday, compared to 14,994 two weeks earlier.

Wise County’s total number of COVID deaths remained at 241.
