BETTYE SUZANNE GOLDING DAVIS

On Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 4:04 PM, Bettye Suzanne Golding Davis, went to be with her heavenly Father from Bristol Regional Medical Center. Bettye attended East Stone Gap United Methodist Church.

She joins in heaven her parents, Charlie and Marie Golding; sisters, Helen Hecht Walker, Loretta Elliot, Kim Golden, and Doris Elliott Sproles.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Dewey L. Davis, of the home; her best friend and sister, Barbara Golding Gibson, of Big Stone Gap; niece, Monique Gibson, of New York City, NY; along with many friends and family.

The Davis family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at East Stone Gap Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Sexton officiating. Procession will follow to Powell Valley Memorial Gardens for interment.

In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital in memory of Mrs. Davis. This charity was close to her heart and she had supported it for many years.
