The new Dollar Tree-Family Dollar combination store in Appalachia held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 18 with town officials. The store, located in the former Payless and Save-A-Lot supermarket building, had a soft opening in late January, giving town residents another grocery option along with Hometown Variety Discount.
