Miss Appalachia: Destiny Brooke Gibson Destiny is the sixteen year old daughter of Chris and Rachel Gibson of Coeburn. She attends Eastside High School as a sophomore and is their student council secretary and a member of the National Honor Society. In her spare time, she enjoys basketball, track, and listening to music. She is planning a career as a marine biologist. Destiny is sponsored by Blown Away Salon in Coeburn.
