Weather, COVID grind Union basketball action to a halt

The Union boys and girls basketball teams have not escaped game postponements in the new year. Last Thursday’s games with Central were postponed due to poor weather conditions while Tuesday’s games against John Battle were postponed due to COVID-19 protocol.

As of the time of printing, the Union boys are scheduled to face off against Abingdon on Thursday. Both the Bears and the Lady Bears are set to head to Central on Monday for a rescheduled super.
