JOHNNY WAYNE BISHOP

Johnny Wayne Bishop Johnny, 67, of Big Stone Gap, VA., entered into his resting place on Wednesday, Jan 5, 2022, at Lonesome Pine Hospital.

He was born on Dec 14, 1954 in Lee County, VA. He loved to be outside working on things. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard Bishop and Mabel (Rhoten) Bishop, three sisters, Darlene, Betty, and Tresa and one brother Doug Bishop.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Joanne Bishop, two daughters; Darlene White and husband Josh, Rebecca Bishop, fiancé Trevor Hall, both of Big Stone Gap, one granddaughter, Maddy whom he dearly loved, she was his “Whole World”, one brother, Roger Bishop, one sister in law Betty ‘’Sis” Harding; other close relatives, and friends. He will be missed by his family and friends.

His wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
