Holiday ornament decorating for children Nov. 6

The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park will offer a holiday ornament decorating workshop for the Children’s November Artisan Series. The workshop will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the museum’s Victorian parlor.

 Children who register for the Holiday Ornament Decorating Workshop will have a fun-filled morning learning how to create their own unique holiday ornaments.

Each participant will decorate three ornaments. One of the ornaments will be placed on the Children’s Tree in the museum, and be used for the Festival of Trees. The children will take two ornaments home with them. This workshop is for children ages 7-12.

 The fee for the workshop will be $15 per child; all supplies and materials are included.

The park will comply with the state Covid 19 regulations in place at the time the program is offered.
