PVHS 1966 55th Class Reunion

Powell Valley Hgh School class of 1966 celebrated their 55th reunion July 30-31. They met a Curklins’ restaurant Friday for a pasta buffet and afterwrds attended the Trail of the Lonesome Pine outdoor drama. Four of their classmates had roles in the first drama fifty-nine years ago in 1962. On Saturday afternoon classmates met at the Lonesome Pine School and Heritage Center. They reminisced with their PVHS secretary Patsy Arnold and their teachers Wilma Brooks, Orpha Chandler, Garnett Gilliam, Jimmie Kilgore, Jack Lewis and Billie Jean Scott.

The PVHS 1966 55th reunion concluded with a stea/chicken buffet at Curklins’. The classmates enjoyed laughing and sharing memories of their school years at Powell Valley High School.
