Campfire sing, marshmallow roast planned June 26
Big Stone Gap, VA — The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park is hosting an evening of s’mores, storytelling and great regional music around the campfire. A local Boy Scout troop will be demonstrating how to build a campfire and set up a campsite as well. The campfire program is scheduled for Saturday, June 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and admission to this program is free.
Musicians and storytellers are encouraged to attend the Campfire Sing & Marshmallow Roast for a “round robin” and informal setup. Beginning performers are welcome to participate. Those who simply want to enjoy the summer weather, atmosphere and s’mores are also welcome to attend.
Registration is required for this program. Please register by Friday, June 25.
The park will comply with the Covid 19 regulations that are in place at the time the program is offered.
