Darden Society inductees recognized
Named for Colgate W. Darden, Jr., former governor of Virginia and past president of The University of Virginia, the Darden Society is the oldest honor society at UVA Wise.
Students are selected for membership on the basis of scholarly achievement and intellectual promise. Sophomores who have been on the Dean’s List of Distinguished Students their first three semesters receive an invitation. Juniors and seniors who have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 may be nominated by their department. Departments may nominate only two students for each major.
These inductees will join over 800 other members. Congratulations to the 31 students selected for this year’s inductee class!
