Gap closes facilities temporarily

Big Stone Gap has temporarily closed the town hall lobby and the Visitor Center to the public due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the area.

The announcement was shared on the town’s various Facebook pages and the town’s website. The closings were effective as of Dec. 29.

There is a drop box outside of the main entrance of the town hall, or people can pay utilities and taxes online at www.bigstonegap.org. Business can also be conducted via telephone at 276/523-0115.
