Holiday photos at the Cove Ridge Center at Natural Tunnel State Park

Are you looking for the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos? Natural Tunnel State Park announced today that the park will be renting out the Cove Ridge Center for the first time to take holiday photos this year. The park will provide the venue and you, or your photographer, take the pictures.

“For years people have asked to take pictures in the Great Room at the Cover Ridge Center and we are happy to announce that, for a limited time only, we will be offering the venue for rent as a perfect backdrop for photo shoots,” said Events Manager Gretchen Cope.

The Cove Ridge Center can be booked for one hour time slots between Dec. 7, 2020 and Jan. 8, 2021 on weekdays, Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the exception of Dec. 24 and 25. There will also be various evening and Saturday hours available during this timeframe, with specific dates and times available upon request. Reservations must be made by calling the center at 276/940-2696.

A special use permit is required and the cost is $25, which will include one hour to take photos. A photographer will not be available to take photos. Photos can be taken by family members, friends, or you can contact a professional photographer to accompany your group.

The award-winning Virginia State Parks are managed by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation.
