Utility cutoffs come back next week
October 03, 2020
Appalachia will resume water/sewer service disconnections on Oct. 8.
On the town’s Facebook page and in an email, town manager Fred Luntsford has stated that the town will be disconnecting water/sewer customers who have not paid their bills or made arrangements with the town.
Luntsford also stated that a $50 reconnection fee will be added to the bill if a disconnection occurs. He encouraged customers who are behind on their bills to contact the town hall.
A healthy Wise County requires great community news.
