GLORIA JEAN MULLINS

Gloria Jean Mullins, 75, of Big Stone Gap, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Mullins attended school at Big Stone Gap High School. Mrs. Mullins worked in the sewing factory here in Big Stone, she also worked for Heritage Hall Nursing Home. She loved her family, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. She was a Godly woman who instilled virtues and values into her family of loyalty and devotion. 

Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her parents; Charles Cogle Phillips and Dixie (Bryant) Phillips, her beloved husband, Curtis Mullins, her brothers; John Phillips, Roger Phillips, Harold Phillips, Dewey Phillips, Bob Phillips, and Charles Phillips, one sister, Madeline King.

Mrs. Mullins is survived by sons Mark Anthony Mullins (Tonya); Roger David Mullins (Missy); and Stephen Patrick Mullins. Grandchildren Kayla Nichell Mullins, Bryson Cole Mullins, Emma Lauren Mullins, Brennan Chase Mullins, and Braleigh Cheyann Mullins; her sister Brenda (Wil) Wells; several nieces and nephews, close family friend Robin McFalls.

The family receivde friends on Monday, April 13, at Holding Funeral Home from 12-6 p.m. with a drop by visitation. The funeral service was held in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, April 14.
