RAY JUNIOR ‘JUNEBUG’ WORLEY

Ray Junior Worley “Junebug”, 80, entered his eternal home on April 9, 2020 from his residence with the love of his life and his baby girl by his side.
He was a lifelong resident of Appalachia, VA. He was a retired construction worker with English Construction. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel C. Worley; mother, Mary Worley; sister, Evelyn Petterson; great-grandchildren, Jeffery Allen and Teresa Lynn; special friend, Vincent Baker.
Ray is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lydia Worley of the home; sons, Bobby Ray Worley (Regina) of Appalachia, James Ray Worley of Appalachia; daughters, Mary Lewis of Bluff City, TN, Sandy Barton (Mike) of Crackers Neck and daddy’s baby girl Mona Rollins of Big Stone Gap; grandchildren, Anthony, Bobby Joe, Brittany, George, Trey; great-grandchildren, Christian, Carter, Raelyn, Parker, Somaya, Grayer, Phoenix; several step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special cousins Anna Lee Smith (Roy); special friend, Larry Van Dyke.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Appalachia Fire Department in the memory of Ray Worley. He was a lifetime member of the Appalachia Rescue Squad. All donations will be gladly appreciated.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and government restrictions, services will be private.
Roy A. Green Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
