VOTE ON MAY 5
As I drove around our neighborhood, I noticed signs in various spots in Appalachia. These are the names I saw for candidates running in the May election for the town of Appalachia: Eddie Galloway, Chris Williams, Johnny Chandler, and Sharon Hatfield. There are three seats to be filled. May the best person win on May 5. Come out and vote if you live in Appalachia and you are a registered voter.
PIGEON FORGE
Gary and I were in Pigeon Forge a few days last week and the Bradford pear trees are white with blooms! Beautiful spring flowers in bloom. Spring always comes earlier in Tennessee than in Virginia. We had three days of warm temperatures but Friday when we got back home it was snow flurrying and cold. Variety is the spice of life and we experienced that last week. One day at a time.

The Laurels has a lot of activities for their residents to attend.
