FRANK G. BOYCE

Frank G. Boyce, 83, of Big Stone Gap, went into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 9, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was a Godly man who showed biblical virtues throughout his entire life. He was a member of David’s Tabernacle in Appalachia, where he faithfully attended until his health prevented him from going.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. He worked for Ford Motor company where he retired. He was a devoted foster father to over 30 children for Wise County. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great- grandfather and he will be sorely missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife Sidney Boyce, and his parents; Frank and Vera Boyce.
He is survived by his three daughters Lorenda Stevens, Denise Casey Robinson (William), Antoinette Shook, his grandchildren Joshua Stephens, Daniel Stevens, John Paul Shook, Stephen Michael Shook, Emily Ann Shook, Lila Jean Robinson, Elizabeth Ann Casey, Diana Rose Casey, his sister-in-law, Cornelia Wilcox, his great grandchild, Domniic Stevens.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Holding Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Billy Bowen officiating. Entombment services were conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap. John Shook, Stephen Shook, Joshua Stephens, Daniel Stevens, William Robinson, and Jesse Harris served as pallbearers.
