STEVE LEE PARSONS

Steve Lee Parsons of Church Hill, TN, departed this life and joined his parents in Heaven on December 24, 2019.

He was born June 29, 1980 in Appalachia, VA and loved his little town very much. He came from a long line of coal-miners, and took his turn when the time came. He had an impish smile, unmatched sense of humor, and big, stunning eyes that could make anyone fall in love with him. Of all the people he touched, his most proud achievement in life was winning the love of his life Hillary Lovell. The most important thing to Steve was always his children, who all loved him and looked up to him.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Parsons, and his parents

Bobbie Jean & Steve Parsons.

Steve is survived by his wife, Hillary Lovell of the home; sons, Steve Parsons, Tristan Parsons, Cheyenne Nichols, and Gabe Blair. Daughters Aubrey Nichols, and Alissa Johnson; sister, Brandy Parsons of Appalachia, nephew, Brayden Parsons; in-laws Chris and Teresa Newsome, East Stone Gap; brother-in-law and best friend, Joe Gupton of Big Stone Gap.

Graveside services for Mr. Parsons were held Tuesday, December 31 at 11 a.m. at American Legion Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, VA.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Holding Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
