THELMA GALLOWAY

Thelma Galloway, 81, of Dryden, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec 29, 2019 at Lee Health and Rehab.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit by all that knew her. Her beautiful smile brightened our days, and we will miss her forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Robert Galloway, sons; Dennis Galloway, Mike Galloway and Danny Galloway, her daughter, Judy Hamilton.

She is survived by her son, Melvin Ray Galloway (Peggy) and daughter, Teresa Galloway Dunham (David), daughter in law, Carol Galloway, son in law, Tommy Hamilton, her grandchildren; Joy Lee (Tracy), Hope Dishner (Johnny), Justin Dunham (Amanda), Melonie Galloway, Stephanie Jenkins (Dave), Cody Galloway (Heather), Lindsey Dunham, Nathan Galloway (Gina), Danielle Galloway, and 13 great grandchildren, two sisters; Beulah Dingus, and Janvee Anderson.

The family received friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Holding Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Josh Leonard officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 2, at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap.

Justin Dunham, Cody Galloway, Tracy Lee, Dave Jenkins, Tyler Lee, David Dunham , Tommy Hamilton, Johnny Dishner will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
