Food Bank

The Food Bank of Wise County had a record numbers for for November 2019. We still have December to provide. Thanks to all who have given food and money to ensure we can provide. We are giving a $15 meat voucher to all families for Christmas. If you would like to purchase a voucher to be given please send a check to Food Bank of Wise County P. O. Box 2977 Wise, Va 24293. Christmas play

The Appalachia Cultural Arts Center presents a free Christmas gift to the community of Appalachia and surrounding area on December 13 at 7 p.m. a play entitled ‘Twelve Plays of Christmas’ by author Pat Cook under the direction of Pamela Counts. No better time to enjoy a Friday evening to help get in touch with your Christmas spirit than to attend a good play and it’s free.  For information call Gary Bush at 276/565-1386.
