MARTIN WAYNE GILLEY SR.

Martin Wayne Gilley Sr., 60, of Big Stone Gap, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 18, 2019. Martin was a loving husband and father.

He touched the hearts of all of those around him, spreading the word of God in all he did. His father Tech Sergeant Truman Wayne Gilley, his mother-in-law Glorious Morefield Snodgrass, his father-in-law Douglas Merle Snodgrass, his brother-in-law James Yonce and brother-in-law Douglas Snodgrass Jr preceded Martin in death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jeannie Gilley, mother Pam Gilley, daughter Aubrey (Aaron) Davidson, his son Marty Gilley Jr., sister Maria (Junior) Culbertson, brother in law John (Dana) Snodgrass, Larry (Brenda) Snodgrass, Teresa Yonce, Mike (Sherri) Snodgrass, his four grandchildren, Jayden Davidson, Kaylee Garrison, Taylor Davidson, Katelyn Miller and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens with Evangelist Buddy Wilson officiating. Pallbearers were family and friends.
