New offers, services coming to Lonesome Pine Regional Library

July 07, 2021

This summer there are more ways to connect with your local library than ever as we introduce new offers and services for our patrons.

Traveling Tales of the Lonesome Pine

Look out for our Nissan Rogue equipped with Internet service and coming to a neighborhood near you. Weather permitting, the service will also include a story time for children.

The funding for this project is allocated in part from the COVID CARES Act through the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Library of Virginia.

Laptops

Sit back, relax, and have a productive day at the library. We now offer mobile laptops for use (in-house only).

Just for Kids

What to do when the kids get tired of playing outside? Now there is a database of videos that are fun, entertaining, and educational! Visit our website www.lprlibrary.org/streaming for more information.

Brainfuse

Are you returning to work and don’t know where to start? Do you have a term paper riddled with comma splices? Brainfuse is a service that offers feedback on career preparedness, interviews, school work, and more!

Brainfuse launched its career services on July 1 and educational services will be launched on September 1.
